Nashville, TN, wanted for assaulting a Mapco employee, breaking his nose

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police are looking for a man who reportedly assaulted an employee at a Mapco on Murfreesboro Pike. Police say on Sunday, July 24, the suspect was yelling at customers in the parking lot of the Mapco, located in the 2600 block of Murfreesboro Pike, before entering the store and threatening the clerk at the counter. When the clerk asked the man to leave, she walked behind the counter, picked up the scanning tool near the register and hit him in the head with it. Breaking news: Pro Bowl team arrested for weapons violation

Duane Brown , a 36-year-old five-time pro bowler, was arrested Saturday at Los Angeles International Airport. He was arrested for a concealed weapon and released on $10,000 bond. Airport security allegedly caught him with an unloaded gun in his luggage around 3:08 p.m. Brown was selected by the Houston Texans in the 2008 draft. He was a first round pick (26th overall) and played there for 9 years. He was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in 2017, where he has played until this year.
