Now that Tucker Carlson is a free agent after being fired from his primetime Fox News gig, Republican donors are creating a political action committee (PAC) to lure him into running for president in 2024 . According to the Federal Election Commission, which PACs are required to report, the Draft Tucker PAC filed its “Declaration of Organization” form in late April, before Carlson was fired from the media giant. As Elon Musk and others continue to sound the alarm about the potential dangers of artificial intelligence, an unlikely duo of a data scientist and a political philosopher are teaming up to use AI with a different purpose in mind: to unite the increasingly hard political divisions in society.
