CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – Police are investigating a fatal shooting at an apartment complex in north Charlotte Monday evening. According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD), the incident happened around 7:30 pm in the 2200 block of Prestigious Lane, which is in the Legacy Park Apartments off of Mallard Creek Road.
