Duane Brown , a 36-year-old five-time pro bowler, was arrested Saturday at Los Angeles International Airport. He was arrested for a concealed weapon and released on $10,000 bond. The US economy contracted for a second straight quarter from April to June, hitting a widely accepted rule of thumb for a recession, the Bureau of Economic Analysis reported Thursday. Gross domestic product fell 0.9% at an annualized rate during the period, it said the advance estimate.
