Amber Portwood<\/strong> is holding her head high after losing custody of her 4-year-old son Jack<\/strong> after a three-year court battle with his father Andrew Glennon<\/strong>. An Indiana judge granted the former Teen Mom OG star sole legal and physical custody of their son and is allowing Jack to move to California from Indiana, where he will reside with Andrew at the Malibu estate of his family, according to documents obtained by The sun<\/a>. Shortly after the news broke, Amber took to Instagram Live to tell her fans that she’s staying “positive” and that she’ll “fight through this,” according to Page Six<\/a>. In addition to the custody and relocation order, the judge ordered that Andrew “seek and consider the mother’s opinion before making any major decisions related to the child’s medical treatment, education and religion,” according to the medium The court battle, which began in 2019 after Amber was arrested for domestic assault against Andrew, concluded with Amber receiving overnight visitation rights that will be phased in to allow Jack to adjust to the new schedule.<\/p>\n

The reality star also revealed that she has been open about her mental health struggles and substance use disorder with Leah. “She’s been asking questions. I’ve always told her the truth, as much as I can for her age,” Amber explained at the meeting. \u201cAs he’s gotten older, he’s learned more. At his age now, it’s kind of like, “Well, I don’t like that attitude or behavior.” I’m not like that. I think she has every right to be mad at me for a lot of things. I let her feel her emotions and I understand that.”<\/p>\n
