\t\t\t\t\tThe State Police Special Emergency Response Team is involved in a standoff at a home in North Huntingdon, Westmoreland County, where police say multiple gunshots were heard. Sky 4 with Action Cam showed a heavy police presence in the area of \u200b\u200bthe standoff on Ivanhoe Drive. (Watch the video above.) “What we do know is that there were several shots fired at different times inside the house. We don’t know exactly how many. That’s all part of our investigation right now. We’re trying to keep everyone away . from this area,” said Trooper Steve Limani. The situation began after North Huntingdon police went to the home for a welfare check around 1 p.m., Limani said. “When they went to the residence, they heard gunshots inside,” he said. “They retreated and set up a perimeter, called for backup.” Police said the person who fired the shots is believed to be the only person in the home.
