The car was unoccupied and reported stolen out of Collierville.<\/p>\n Less than an hour later, officers responded around 12:45 a.m. to the 3900 block of New Covington Pike at Methodist North Hospital.<\/p>\n Methodist originally provided the following statement to FOX13.<\/p>\n Early this morning, there was a shooting near Methodist North Hospital. No hospital employees were injured. Six patients were treated and transported to Regional One and Le Bonheur hospitals. We appreciate the quick action of our employees to guide patients out of the emergency waiting area so that our security team and the Memphis Police Department could respond quickly. We are working with local law enforcement as they continue to investigate. The hospital is not closed at this time.<\/p>\n According to MPD, two of the victims were taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, with one still in non-critical condition and one released.<\/p>\n Four victims were taken to Regional One, police said. Three of the four remain in hospital and the other was released.<\/p>\n During this investigation, Gun Crimes Unit investigators have determined that Reginald Felix (19), a 17-year-old, and a 16-year-old were in the stolen Infiniti SUV when they were shot in the 5700 block of Raleigh LaGrange. road<\/p>\n Reginald Felix <\/span>Reginald Felix <\/span>(SCSO)<\/p>\n The fourth victim was hit at this location and taken by a private car to Methodist North.<\/p>\n According to police, a 14-year-old and a 25-year-old took the three injured in the stolen Infiniti SUV from the Tanglewood Apartments on Methodist North.<\/p>\n While on their way to the hospital, they were shot by unknown suspects in a dark-colored vehicle, according to a statement.<\/p>\n The five left the disabled car and ran to the hospital.<\/p>\n Around 4 p.m., Methodist sent FOX13 an updated statement.<\/p>\n Early this morning, six injured youths were treated at Methodist North Hospital and transported to Regional One and Le Bonheur following a shooting in the Raleigh community of Memphis. This incident did not occur on or near our hospital campus. Our medical staff worked quickly to stabilize the injured and give them the care they needed. We appreciate the quick action of our staff to guide patients out of the ED waiting area so that our security team and the Memphis Police Department could respond quickly. Violence is a national epidemic in communities across the country and the Mid-South is not immune.
