The Hamden Police Department is investigating a robbery at the Connex Credit Union Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Hamden officers responded to a reported robbery at the Connex Credit Union on Dixwell Avenue around 12:45 pm. According to police, the suspect entered the credit union and passed a note to the teller demanding money. <\/p>\n

Police described the suspect as a woman between 5-foot-3 and 5-foot-5 with a dark complexion. He was wearing a blue hoodie and a surgical mask, police said.<\/p>\n

No weapons were displayed and no one was injured, police said. The woman fled with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.<\/p>\n

Detectives from the Hamden Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Unit are leading the investigation and are following several leads, police said.<\/p>\n
