A “critical incident” occurred on Canyon Hills Road in Thermopolis.<\/p>\n
The City of Thermopolis confirms there was an “officer-involved shooting” at approximately 12:37 p.m. Local sources say the incident occurred at an RV parking lot on Canyon Hills Road.<\/p>\n
The Hot Springs County Sheriff’s Office also confirms that a “critical incident” occurred and has asked the public to avoid the area.<\/p>\n
A Thermopolis police officer was shot and airlifted to an area hospital.<\/p>\n
There were allegedly two suspects, a man and a woman, who were involved in the incident. Both suspects are down and may be dead.<\/p>\n
