{"id":17512,"date":"2023-05-05T04:06:39","date_gmt":"2023-05-05T04:06:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news24feed.com\/?p=17512"},"modified":"2023-05-05T04:06:40","modified_gmt":"2023-05-05T04:06:40","slug":"a-driver-runs-a-red-light-and-kills-a-woman-in-a-crash-in-dunedin-deputies-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news24feed.com\/?p=17512","title":{"rendered":"A driver runs a red light and kills a woman in a crash in Dunedin, deputies say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">An 18-year-old man was arrested on a charge of vehicular homicide after he ran a red light at a Dunedin intersection Wednesday and crashed into a woman&#8217;s car, killing her, officers said .<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Dominic Rampi of Dunedin was driving a 2011 BMW 335i south on Belcher Road at a high rate of speed around 10:50 p.m. when he ran a red light at the intersection with Curlew Road, according to the County Sheriff&#8217;s Office pinellas  The BMW crashed into the side of a 2013 Dodge Charger that was headed east on Curlew.<\/p>\n<p>Dominic Rampi, 18, was arrested Thursday on a charge of vehicular homicide after officers say he ran a red light at the intersection of Belcher and Curlew roads and crashed into another car, killing the 75-year-old woman who was driving it. <span class=\"caption__credit\">[\u00a0Pinellas County Sheriff&#8217;s Office\u00a0]<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The driver of the Dodge, 75-year-old Marion Miller, was taken to a local hospital, where she died.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The force of the crash caused the Charger to hit a 2010 Madza 3.
