{"id":18027,"date":"2023-05-07T18:56:36","date_gmt":"2023-05-07T18:56:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news24feed.com\/?p=18027"},"modified":"2023-05-07T18:56:37","modified_gmt":"2023-05-07T18:56:37","slug":"one-man-dead-in-single-vehicle-crash-on-i-95-in-canton-state-police-say-boston-25-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news24feed.com\/?p=18027","title":{"rendered":"One man dead in single-vehicle crash on I-95 in Canton, state police say &#8211; Boston 25 News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 rQkyc body-paragraph\">CANTON, Mass.  &#8211; A man died Saturday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in Canton, state police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 rQkyc body-paragraph\">The victim&#8217;s name was not released pending notification of next of kin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 rQkyc body-paragraph\">A preliminary investigation found the crash happened around 5 a.m. when a 2020 Toyota Tundra traveling southbound on I-95 at a high rate of speed attempted to change lanes, state police said . <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 rQkyc body-paragraph\">The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, lost control of the Tundra, which struck the guardrail and went into the center median, state police said.  The driver was ejected from the vehicle.  He was pronounced dead at the scene. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 rQkyc body-paragraph\">No other vehicle was involved in the accident. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 rQkyc body-paragraph\">The crash remains under investigation by the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, the State Police Crime Scene Services Section and the Norfolk County State Police Detective Unit .<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 rQkyc body-paragraph\">Crews temporarily closed the left and middle lanes of the road.
