Labor leader Merav Michaeli blasts the coalition’s planned allocation of NIS 12 billion to partner party priorities as “political protection payments,” speaking at the start of her party’s factional meeting of Monday’s centre-left opposition in the Knesset.<\/p>\n

Touching on Sunday night reports that the coalition plans to distribute a significant amount of discretionary funding to political priorities, it says the funds are “a bribe to the ultra-Orthodox, a bribe to the settlers and a bribe to the extreme and dangerous “.
