A Pittsburgh woman is behind bars after Pennsylvania State Police say she broke into a home and barricaded herself inside.<\/p>\n
According to state police, troopers were called to the 220 block of Corey Avenue in Braddock around 10:47 a.m. for a report of a domestic incident.<\/p>\n
Authorities said Samantha Abram, 39, entered the home through a broken window and struck a victim in the head with a closed fist.<\/p>\n
State police said Abram damaged several items inside the home.<\/p>\n
As she tried to talk to Abram, she ran back into the house and barricaded herself inside, leaving the children outside.<\/p>\n
Officers were able to enter the home when the homeowner arrived. They found Abram hiding in the basement in a plastic bin.<\/p>\n
Abram was arrested and is being held in the Allegheny County Jail.<\/p>\n
