TACOMA, Wash. – The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a man accused of breaking into Pacific Lutheran University dormitories and groping female students Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

According to the sheriff’s department, the man entered two different bedrooms and stood over the female students as they slept. The man woke up the students by touching them and then ran away.<\/p>\n

After the beating incidents, one of the victims chased the man into the parking lot and pepper sprayed him, the sheriff’s department said. He was also able to take a photo of the man.<\/p>\n

Sheriff’s deputies are working with campus security to obtain surveillance footage and forensic teams responded to process fingerprints at the scene.<\/p>\n

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about the incident is asked to call the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department or come forward with a tip. Crime Stoppers<\/a>.<\/p>\n
