{"id":22572,"date":"2023-05-30T19:41:21","date_gmt":"2023-05-30T19:41:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news24feed.com\/?p=22572"},"modified":"2023-05-30T19:41:23","modified_gmt":"2023-05-30T19:41:23","slug":"former-butler-school-board-member-accused-of-sexual-assault-wpxi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news24feed.com\/?p=22572","title":{"rendered":"Former Butler school board member accused of sexual assault &#8211; WPXI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 dowhnV body-paragraph\">BUTLER, Pa.  &#8211; A former Butler school board member has been charged with sexual assault in connection with an alleged relationship he had with a teenage girl.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 dowhnV body-paragraph\">PREVIOUS COVERAGE >>> Butler school board member under investigation for alleged sex with teen<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 dowhnV body-paragraph\">Bill Halle is charged with four felonies following an investigation into the alleged relationship.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 dowhnV body-paragraph\">RELATED >>> A member of the local school board, accused of inappropriate sexual relations with a teenage girl, resigns<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 dowhnV body-paragraph\">Court documents said the alleged victim, who is 17, was an employee of Halle at an outreach center in Butler.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 dowhnV body-paragraph\">On April 27, police were called to an area near the victim&#8217;s home after a concerned citizen reported that Halle and the victim were sitting on the curb being intimate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 dowhnV body-paragraph\">The investigation turned up messages between Halle and the victim that were sexual in nature.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 dowhnV body-paragraph\">Police discovered several text messages describing various sexual acts.
