\n\tBrower has served as editor-in-chief of CNN Politics and, before that, spent more than a decade at MSNBC. This week’s strip has been without a permanent EP since the sudden death in December of Dax Tejera. Brower will report to ABC News President Kim Godwin.<\/p>\n

\tKendall Heath, who served as interim executive producer this week, will serve as executive producer of politics and report to executive editor and senior vice president Stacia Deshishku and work very closely with political director Rick Klein, Godwin wrote in a note to employees.<\/p>\n

\tBrower joined CNN in 2016 and previously served as executive producer of MSNBC’s The Daily Rundown and MTP Daily. It launched the latter as an extension of the Meet the Press brand. Brower began his career covering politics as a member of the network’s political unit.<\/p>\n

She was later promoted to senior producer while contributing to the network’s political specials and election programming. Godwin thanked Heath “for leading the team at an incredibly difficult time and stepping in to continue to produce the best Sunday political affairs program for our viewers every week.” <\/p>\n
