TOWNS COUNTY, Ga. – A homeowner was praised for her quick actions after holding a burglary suspect at gunpoint while she waited for authorities to arrive.<\/p>\n
Towns County Sheriff’s officials said on May 20, deputies received a call from a home on Gumlog Road about someone rummaging through vehicles.<\/p>\n
When officers arrived, they identified the two suspects as 18-year-old Hunter Chase Adams and 21-year-old Travis Richard Foskey, both of Young Harris, as the two who had trashed several cars in the area, but both they had fled the area. scene before being arrested by the police.<\/p>\n

A short time later, deputies received a call from a homeowner in the same area who said he had a suspect at gunpoint. <\/p>\n
The victim told officers, when she got home, the suspect found her at the front door, wearing her husband’s clothes. Officers determined that the suspect had entered his home.<\/p>\n
When officers arrived at the scene, the suspect, identified as Adams, attempted to flee but was tackled by officers and arrested. <\/p>\n

Adams was charged with burglary and 20 counts of breaking and entering an automobile.<\/p>\n
After identifying Foskey as the second suspect in the case, officers obtained warrants for his arrest, charging him with burglary and 20 counts of breaking and entering an automobile.<\/p>\n
Sheriff Ken Henderson commended the homeowner for his quick action and holding the suspect until deputies arrived.<\/p>\n
