ATLANTA \u2014 Atlanta police are investigating a shooting in southwest Atlanta.<\/p>\n

Authorities told Channel 2 News officers received reports of a person shot at Mechanicsville Crossing, an apartment complex on Wells Street SW, shortly after 2 a.m. Monday.<\/p>\n

When officers arrived, they found a man in his 20s who had been shot to death.<\/p>\n

The identity of the victim has not been released.<\/p>\n
