Actor Bryan Cranston announced that he plans to take a break from acting in the coming years to spend more time with his wife of three decades. <\/p>\n
In an interview with British GQ<\/a>the “Breaking Bad” star, 67, said he planned to take a break in 2026 and perhaps move to France with his wife Robin Dearden. <\/p>\n \u201cI want to have that experience,\u201d he said. “I want to go on day trips and have a fire in the fireplace and drink wine with new friends and not read scripts.”<\/p>\n “It won’t be like, ‘Oh, I’ll read and see what I’ll do’. No, it’s a break. It’s a stop,” he added. <\/p>\n The actor told the magazine that he wanted to put his 34-year-old wife first after she has supported him throughout his acting career. <\/p>\n “Cranston plans to close his production company, sell his half of Dos Hombres and elope with Dearden,” the article says.<\/p>\n “I want to change the paradigm once more,” he tells GQ. “For the last 24 years, Robin has led her life by my tail. It’s been the advantage, she’s been a celebrity wife. She’s had to pivot and adjust her life around mine . It has enormous benefits.” but we are unequal. I want to match this. She deserves it.” <\/p>\n Cranston said she wanted to live in a small town, learn French and how to cook, and take up gardening. He said he was excited at the prospect of reading books with his wife and “finding new things to talk about over dinner.”<\/p>\n “It’s about taking risks. I’m used to that feeling, of not knowing,” he said. <\/p>\n
