The former prime minister quoted Arnold Schwarzenegger from the movie The Terminator and said: “I’ll be back.”<\/p>\n

The vote came amid a public sparring match between Johnson and Rishi Sunak over the former prime minister’s resignation honors list. <\/p>\n

Johnson formally resigned as an MP yesterday after claiming he was kicked out of the Commons over the Privileges Committee’s “witch hunt” investigation at the party’s doorstep. <\/p>\n

Johnson struck a defiant tone in the comments to the Daily Express, telling the paper: \u201cWe must fully deliver on Brexit and the 2019 manifesto. We must crush Labor at the next election.<\/p>\n

“Nothing short of absolute victory and total Brexit will do, and as the great Arnold Schwarzenegger said, I’ll be back.”<\/p>\n
