It looks like General Hospital fans will have to wait to see what happens next on the hit soap opera after today’s episode was anticipated<\/a> due to a special report by ABC News.<\/p>\n The show, which normally airs weekdays at 3 p.m. ET on ABC, was interrupted by the network’s coverage of former President Donald Trump’s appearance in a federal courtroom in Miami, where he pleaded not guilty<\/a> to all charges brought against him for his handling of classified documents.<\/p>\n Instead, the episode of General Hospital that aired today will air on Wednesday (June 14) during its regular timeslot, before coming to Hulu<\/a> i ABC.com<\/a> the following day.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, fans of the show, which just celebrated its 60th anniversary, making it the longest-running daytime drama on network television, took to social media to air their complaints about the unexpected interference.<\/p>\n “Every network has like 12 channels why they have to cut #GH they can’t air it on one of their other 12 options,” one fan suggested<\/a>while another added<\/a>“Starting to watch this show on Hulu exclusively. My DVR can’t keep up with all these preemptions.”<\/p>\n A third person smoked<\/a>“The news coverage can be shown at 5 or 6 when the news is usually shown. This is getting old. No, you do NOT need to put it on Disney plus.
