At least one person is dead after a shooting in Willowbrook, in southwest suburban DuPage County, early Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

Firefighters responded to calls from gunshot victims around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. According to officials, there was a “very large” gathering of people at a shopping center located at Route 83 and Honeysuckle Rose Lane. Firefighters transported 10 people to local hospitals.<\/p>\n

In the early hours of June 18, 2023, several people were shot, one of them fatally, in a parking lot in Willowbrook, Illinois. <\/span>(NVP Video)<\/p>\n

Battalion Chief Steve Vogel of the Tri-State Fire Protection District said of those 10 people, one person died and one was in critical condition.<\/p>\n

Vogel said police estimate nearly 20 people were shot. Authorities also report that seven people were taken to the hospital.<\/p>\n
