KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) \u2014 <\/span>An unknown masked man stopped and arrested four people accused of breaking into a cabin in West Virginia on Thursday, deputies said.<\/p>\n Deputies initially received a burglary call around 1:15 p.m. Thursday in Charleston, and when they arrived they found four people on the ground with their hands tied behind their backs, according to a news release from the Kanawha County Sheriff.<\/p>\n The four people were identified by the sheriff’s office as Elizabeth Littlejohn, 36, of Malden; James McDaniel Jr., 50, of Charleston; Timothy Justice, 56, of Milton, and Jason Becher, 38, of Charleston.<\/p>\n The four told officers they had been in the cab and when they left, a masked, armed man approached them, ordered them out of an SUV and out of a truck, according to the press release The unnamed woman then tied her hands behind her back and shot the tires of the vehicles before leaving the scene.<\/p>\n Deputies spoke with the owner of the property who said the residence was a hunting cabin that he did not live in full time. He also told deputies the cabin had been broken into several times in recent weeks, according to the news release.<\/p>\n Property from the cabin was found in the suspect’s vehicle, which led to the four people being charged with breaking and entering, according to the news release.<\/p>\n Investigators have determined that the homeowner had no involvement in the arrest of the suspects. The identity of the masked man is still unknown.<\/p>\n Bail was set at $5,000 per person.<\/p>\n
