The police are making a big mess today in Leesburg. A logging truck overturned this morning and closed one of the on-ramps to the Leesburg Bypass.<\/p>\n

Here’s the latest from the Leesburg Police Department: “The ramp from South King Street to the eastbound Leesburg Bypass is currently closed due to a crash involving an overturned logging truck and trailer. Please avoid the area and use alternate routes.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Images posted on social media show the truck’s cab smashed into pieces and large wooden poles falling all over the roadway and against the ramp’s railings.<\/p>\n

An ambulance was also at the scene. No word yet on the condition of the driver or what caused the crash.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
