(KKTV) &#8211; As thousands celebrated the Denver Nuggets&#8217; championship victory in Denver Tuesday morning, police responded to reports of a shooting in the 2000 block of Market Street downtown.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Denver police reported a total of nine gunshot victims and said a suspect also suffered a gunshot wound shortly after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police said three victims were in critical condition and the other victims and the suspect were believed to have non-life threatening injuries.  The investigation is ongoing. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">During a news conference Tuesday, police said they believe there may be a drug connection, as several bags of fentanyl were found at the scene, on one of the suspects and in another suspect&#8217;s vehicle .
