Cherokee County, Ga. – A group of seven people who prosecutors say are gang-affiliated are headed to prison, according to the Cherokee County District Attorney’s office.<\/p>\n
Prosecutors say that over two nights in June and July 2019, approximately 50 cars were carjacked in Cherokee County neighborhoods.<\/p>\n
The group stole five guns, three cars and other personal items.<\/p>\n

Six people were arrested when they returned early one July morning to continue their crime spree:<\/p>\n
Tyjuan “TK” Shecorn Burch, 22 Quinn “Chucky” Chajuan Dawson, 23Jacquez “Joc” Daquan Ivey, 23Darell “Rell” Marrion, 21Two juniors<\/p>\n
While prosecuting them, the Cherokee County District Attorney’s Office says they learned of three other suspects:<\/p>\n
Johnmarvalious “Wixked” Givens, 22 Quanjavis “Boochie” Jawayne Jones, 21 Detravious “Trey” Long, 22<\/p>\n
All seven adults pleaded guilty to violating the RICO Act. It is not clear if the two minors were tried.<\/p>\n
Burch pleaded guilty to violating the RICO Act and was sentenced to 20 years with the first 10 to be served in prison.<\/p>\n
Dawson pleaded guilty to violating the RICO Act and possessing a firearm during the commission of a felony. He was sentenced to 20 years with the first 15 to be served in prison.<\/p>\n
Ivey pleaded guilty to violating the RICO Act and stealing to take. He was sentenced to 20 years with the first 10 to be served in prison.<\/p>\n
Marrion pleaded guilty to violating the RICO Act and was sentenced to 20 years with the first 12 to be served in prison.<\/p>\n
