ATLANTA \u2014 Atlanta police confirmed that a man died after being struck by a tree.<\/p>\n

APD said Sunday at 6:12 p.m. they responded to a person struck by a falling tree in the area of \u200b\u200b319 Delmont Drive NE.<\/p>\n

They arrived at the scene and found a man who had been hit by a falling tree.<\/p>\n

The Fulton County Medical Examiner confirmed the victim as 55-year-old George Heery, Jr.<\/p>\n

He was taken to hospital in critical condition.<\/p>\n
