{"id":27967,"date":"2023-06-27T10:59:38","date_gmt":"2023-06-27T10:59:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news24feed.com\/?p=27967"},"modified":"2023-06-27T10:59:39","modified_gmt":"2023-06-27T10:59:39","slug":"man-indicted-accused-of-killing-mother-aunt-in-new-sewickley-township-double-homicide-wpxi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news24feed.com\/?p=27967","title":{"rendered":"Man indicted, accused of killing mother, aunt in New Sewickley Township double homicide &#8211; WPXI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 dowhnV body-paragraph\">A man is accused of killing his mother and aunt Saturday at a Beaver County home.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 dowhnV body-paragraph\">Mary Lihosit, 65, of Irving, Texas, and Delores Selby, 71, of New Sewickley Township, were identified by Beaver County Coroner David Gabauer as the victims of a shooting in the 400 block of Klein Road in New Sewickley Township.  Both died as a result of multiple rifle wounds to the torso, according to Gabauer.  Their deaths were ruled homicides.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 dowhnV body-paragraph\">The New Sewickley Township Police Department was called to the home for a report of a shooting shortly before 2 p.m.  The caller initially told them their relatives had been shot and that &#8220;it was their cousin Ben,&#8221; according to the complaint.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 dowhnV body-paragraph\">Officers set up a perimeter around the home when they determined there was a hostage inside the home.  The Beaver County Emergency Services Unit responded and forced entry, according to court documents.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 dowhnV body-paragraph\">Benjamin D. Selby, 43, was taken into custody.
