ORLANDO, Fla. – The National Hurricane Center said Wednesday morning it is watching two weather systems in the Atlantic Ocean south of Bermuda.<\/p>\n
The remnants of Tropical Storm Cindy show no signs of rebuilding.<\/p>\n
But a disturbance just east of that has little chance of forming over the next few days as it moves slowly north, parallel to the US East Coast.<\/p>\n

There is a 10% chance that the disturbance will occur in the next two days and a 20% chance that it will form over the next week.<\/p>\n
But neither weather system poses a threat to Florida.<\/p>\n

Closer to home, a heat advisory is in effect for Sumter and Polk counties until 6 p.m. because there is a potential for the heat index, or feel-good temperature, to reach 109 degrees.<\/p>\n
Residents are advised to drink plenty of fluids and avoid going out in the afternoon if possible.<\/p>\n
