Christie Brinkley<\/a> he’s calling out critics who send him mean messages.<\/p>\n In a post she shared on Instagram with a selfie, the 69-year-old model and actress addressed what she called the “wrinkle brigade,” or commenters with negative things to say about her.<\/p>\n “They’re the people who scan celebrity pages hoping to find some cellulite or wrinkles or anything they can point out to criticize,” Brinkley said. “It has to be some form of compensation for some things they’re missing.”<\/p>\n But despite the bad comments she receives, Brinkley continued to highlight the uplifting ones.<\/p>\n “There are others who appear with such kind and valuable messages,” he said. “These are the comments that restore my faith and make my heart sing!”<\/p>\n “Thank you sweet souls,” he added.<\/p>\n In 2020, Brinkley also took to Instagram to share a positive message from the body<\/a> with a throwback post of her 1977 Cosmopolitan magazine cover.<\/p>\n “I remember being worried that I looked fat,” she said at the time. “I look back on these and think the worry was a waste of time.”<\/p>\n “If only the worry-relieving perspective we gain with age could be passed on and absorbed by the younger generation,” he added. “But I think changing the focus to feeling good is a giant step in the right direction.” <\/p>\n
