The Parkersburg News and Sentinel and The Marietta Times will not publish print editions on Independence Day, or any of the other major holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas<\/p>\n

However, our newsroom will remain staffed both the day before and on the actual holiday. <\/p>\n

Breaking news and event coverage, local sports coverage and obituaries will still be managed and appear on our website on holiday mornings, and in print the day after the holiday. <\/p>\n
