One was pronounced dead at the scene and two others died at hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>The other eight were also hospitalized and their conditions were not known, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the victims were taken to hospitals by private vehicle and the rest by ambulance.<\/p>\n<p>Police said 10 victims are believed to be adults and the other is a juvenile.<\/p>\n<p>There were no reports of any arrests and a motive for the shooting was not immediately clear.<\/p>\n<p>The shooting took place in the city&#8217;s Como neighborhood in Fort Worth, CBS News Texas reported. Jason Spencer told reporters there was a &#8220;large gathering of people&#8221; in the parking lot at the time of the shooting shortly before midnight.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am devastated by the news of a mass shooting in Fort Worth last night,&#8221; said Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MayorMattie\/status\/1676215785386115074\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">published<\/a> on social media, encouraging people with information to contact the police.  &#8220;My heart breaks for the victims, their loved ones and the entire Como community working to build positivity and celebration in their community and our city.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>If you have information about the shooting or have personal video of the shooting or the events leading up to the shooting, please contact Fort Worth Police at 817-392-4330.<\/p>\n<p>The incident marks the latest mass shooting in a major city over the holiday weekend.  Right Monday, a heavily armed gunman wearing a bulletproof vest opened fire in Philadelphia. <span class=\"link\">killing five people<\/span> and wounded two before surrendering, police said.  Two people were killed and 28 others were injured in a shooting at a holiday weekend party in Baltimore on Sunday.  <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Over the past few days, our nation has once again suffered a wave of tragic and senseless shootings in communities across America, from Philadelphia to Fort Worth, from Baltimore to Lansing, from Wichita to Chicago,&#8221; the president said.
