The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an intruder they say broke into resort rooms and fondled women’s feet while they slept.<\/p>\n

Deputies say once the victims woke up, the suspect fled through a sliding screen door.<\/p>\n

The alleged incidents happened Sunday and early Monday morning at the undisclosed complex on Elks Point Road in Stateline. In both cases, officers say the victim’s bedrooms were downstairs and the person entered through unsecured screen doors.<\/p>\n

If you have information that could help authorities, call Investigator Scott Wharton at 775-586-7253.<\/p>\n

“In the meantime, residents and guests staying in the Lake Tahoe area are reminded to secure all exterior doors to their homes\/rental rooms,” the sheriff’s office says.<\/p>\n
