MIDDLEBOROUGH, Mass. \u2014 Police have charged eight more suspects, two 19-year-olds and six juveniles, in connection with a triple stabbing in June that left three other teenagers injured, one seriously.<\/p>\n
Two 19-year-old Middleborough teenagers, Matthew Brow and Alaiis Barrows, were charged with assault and battery, Middleborough Police Chief Joseph Perkins said Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Six juveniles, four males and two females, were also charged with assault and battery, Perkins said. The court date has not yet been set.<\/p>\n
Hours after the stabbing, Jayden Wainwright, 18, of Middleborough, was ordered held on $25,000 cash bail at the Plymouth County House of Correction. He was charged with attempted murder and also three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, June 24 at 12:05 p.m., police received a 911 call reporting several people stabbed in the area of \u200b\u200bthe power lines on Wall Street, police said.<\/p>\n
When officers arrived, they found two 19-year-old men suffering from stab wounds.<\/p>\n
A 19-year-old victim suffered multiple stab wounds to the torso and was taken by ambulance to a Boston hospital in critical condition, police said. That victim remains hospitalized, Perkins said Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Another 19-year-old victim suffered multiple stab wounds to the leg and was taken by ambulance to a New Bedford hospital, police said.<\/p>\n
A third victim, a 15-year-old boy, was stabbed in the leg and taken to a Taunton hospital by a private citizen, police said.<\/p>\n
An 18-year-old Middleborough teenager accused of stabbing three other teenagers, seriously injuring one of them, has been charged with attempted murder, police say.<\/p>\n
The case remains under active investigation. Additional charges may be filed against additional people, police said.<\/p>\n
Wainwright is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Wareham District Court.<\/p>\n
