A 51-year-old man who allegedly used a victim’s information to open a line of credit and make “various purchases” has been arrested in Florida, authorities say.<\/p>\n

In June, the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office said detectives were looking for Joshua Carry Dunn after receiving a report of identity theft and fraud. Through the investigation, detectives linked Dunn to the case.<\/p>\n

“Dunn used the victim’s information to open a line of credit,” authorities said at the time. “Several purchases were also made in the New Orleans area.”<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, the sheriff’s office said Dunn had been taken into custody by law enforcement in Florida. The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office has placed a “hold” on Dunn.<\/p>\n
