BOSTON – Police are investigating two crime scenes in Boston, including one where a person was shot to death Thursday night, officials said.<\/p>\n
According to the Boston Police Department, officers responding to a report of a shooting in the area of \u200b\u200b5th Leyland Street in Dorchester shortly before midnight found a gunshot victim.<\/p>\n
The victim, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
Homicide detectives were tipped off, but as of Friday morning no arrests had been made in connection with the incident.<\/p>\n
As detectives scoured the area for evidence, another group of officers rushed to Dunmore Street, which is about a half-mile away in Roxbury.<\/p>\n
Boston Police 2 Crime Scenes <\/span><\/p>\n Upon arrival, officers discovered a white car behind a church with multiple bullet holes in the windshield. They were then flagged down by a victim near East Cottage Street who reported being involved in an armed carjacking.<\/p>\n There were no injuries in the alleged carjacking.<\/p>\n It is not clear if these two incidents are related.<\/p>\n Investigations are still ongoing in both scenarios.<\/p>\n This is a developing story.
