Heavy downpours hit Central Florida early Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n
There could be a few more scattered storms along the coast Friday evening. Flagler County will remain under a severe thunderstorm warning until 6:30 p.m<\/p>\n
Storms will move into the area even earlier Saturday.<\/p>\n
Expect rain and some lightning after dawn until 10 a.m. Saturday near Interstate 75.<\/p>\n
Near Interstate 4, expect thunderstorms by midday. They will move to the coast early Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n
Dry, dusty air from Africa that has moved into South Florida will slightly reduce the chance of rain for Sunday and Monday, especially in areas to our south.<\/p>\n

There is a 60% chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, with temperatures reaching 93.<\/p>\n

This weekend, expect low to mid 90s in Central Florida and scattered afternoon thunderstorms Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n
On the beaches, the rip current risk is moderate. Remember to always swim close to a lifeguard if one is on duty.<\/p>\n
Watching the tropics, nothing in the Atlantic to track and all is quiet.<\/p>\n
