An Alabama<\/a> The TV reporter got the scoop of her life when she found her now-fianc\u00e9 on one knee for a marriage proposal behind her while she was at work.<\/p>\n Valerie Bell, reporter from Birmingham ABC branch<\/a> WBMA, arrived on scene in response to reports of a vehicle driven into water while speaking with Pell City Police Department officials.<\/p>\n Video captured by station chief photographer Bill Castle shows the moment firefighter Blake Bjornson who is friends with the police department officials<\/a>he knelt behind her with a ring box in his hand.<\/p>\n “So, do you mind if I take some notes?” Bell asked an officer at the scene.<\/p>\n “Uh, sure, yeah, but before you take some notes, I think you’ll like to see something right behind you,” the officer said as he pointed towards Bjornson.<\/p>\n “Oh my God,” Bell said before expressing his surprise at the setup.<\/p>\n Bjornson, who said at his proposal that Bell was the best thing that ever happened to him, soon received a yes from his now-girlfriend.<\/p>\n Bell, in a tweet, wrote that the proposal was “a big surprise.”<\/p>\n “I can’t wait to spend forever with you.
