Tropical Storm Bret exits the Lesser Antilles on Friday morning and moves into the eastern Caribbean Sea.<\/p>\n

As of 11 a.m. Friday, it was 235 miles west of St. Vincent and moving west at 21 mph.<\/p>\n

Winds are 60 mph with higher gusts.<\/p>\n

The minimum estimated central pressure is 1001 mb.<\/p>\n

All watches and advisories have been discontinued for the Lesser Antilles.<\/p>\n

The center of Bret will continue to move westward away from the Lesser Antilles and across the eastern and central Caribbean Sea over the next few days.<\/p>\n

Weakening is expected over the next few days and Bret is expected to dissipate into the central Caribbean Sea by Sunday.<\/p>\n

The complex will not affect northeast Florida or southeast Georgia.<\/p>\n

Bret is the second tropical storm of the 2023 Atlantic hurricane season. The first named storm, Arlene, was a short-lived system in the Gulf of Mexico.<\/p>\n

Hurricane season ends on November 30.<\/p>\n
