OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. \u2014 An Osceola County deputy has been fired after being arrested on domestic violence-related charges, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Orlando police arrested Osceola County Deputy Alex Valentin on charges of assault, aggravated assault and false imprisonment, the sheriff’s office said.<\/p>\n

The agency said Valentin was “immediately terminated” over the allegations.<\/p>\n

The sheriff’s office said it had employed Valentin for about 11 years.<\/p>\n

“The sheriff and members of the sheriff’s office support and concern is with the victim,” a spokesman said.<\/p>\n
