{"id":31297,"date":"2023-07-14T19:02:53","date_gmt":"2023-07-14T19:02:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news24feed.com\/?p=31297"},"modified":"2023-07-14T19:02:53","modified_gmt":"2023-07-14T19:02:53","slug":"tampa-man-killed-in-fiery-crash-on-i-75-exit-ramp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news24feed.com\/?p=31297","title":{"rendered":"Tampa man killed in fiery crash on I-75 exit ramp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">A 36-year-old Tampa man died Friday when he was driving the wrong way and collided head-on with another vehicle on an Interstate 75 exit ramp, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The other driver, a 49-year-old Riverview man, was seriously injured in the crash that happened just before 10 a.m. on the State Highway 574 exit ramp.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">According to officers, the Riverview man was driving a van southbound on I-75 and exited onto SR-574 when the Tampa man took the same northbound exit ramp, at the wrong direction.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The two vehicles collided head-on, officers said.  The car the wrong-way motorist was driving caught fire and was partially burned, officers said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">A Hillsborough County fire hazardous incident team was driving to a gas leak when they came across the crash, according to a Facebook post from the agency.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The crew used a fire extinguisher on the car and removed the man.
