A CCTV clip of the operation posted on Twitter by Lagos Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin showed the gang ransacking a shop while holding a person at gunpoint.

He said: “The Daredevil robbers engaged officers from Area B Command, Apapa, Lagos State Police Command, in a gun duel in an attempt to escape arrest.
“The robbers, however, fell to the superior firepower of the police officers.
