Singer and songwriter, Oluwatobiloba Daniel, also known as Kizz Daniel, has been allegedly arrested in Tanzania after he failed to show up for a paid concert in the country.
Fans of the singer who had gathered at the venue of his advertised show in Tanzania left angrily and cleared the venue after he failed to turn up, viral videos have shown.
The Buga crooner was scheduled to perform at the Warehouse, Old Nextdoor Arena in Tanzania on Sunday night as part of his Afro Classic World Tour.
After its failure, a video of angry fans trashing the venue of the show had earlier trended.
However, in fresh videos trending on Twitter, the singer wearing a hooded jacket was seen being led into a police vehicle.
In the background of the videos voices were heard expressing their displeasure with the singer’s attitude.
An angry voice said, “You’re going. You’ve caused damage to this country. I warned you yesterday.”
Although the singer has yet to address the situation, his fans have blasted him for his actions.
One tweep, @poojamedia, said: “Kizz Daniel do it in Nigeria, come late to shows and I don’t ask him to go beg. I don’t bring Naija mentality come to Tanzania, I don’t arrest him.
Another tweep, @olamideofficial said: “Last time I said Kizz Daniel needs to fix. Some people came over my head. Here we go again. Talent is never enough. If there is any whatever is causing these ongoing problems needs to be fixed.”
