Senator Joe Manchin announced Wednesday that he had reached an agreement with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, who had eluded them for months, on health care costs, energy and climate issues. DELAND – The owner of a DeLand auto shop and sales in DeLand died Tuesday while working on a car. Myles Von Behren, 40, was pronounced dead at the scene Tuesday, but officials say the case remains under investigation. “This case is being investigated by the Piatt County Sheriff’s Department and the Piatt County Coroner’s Office,” said Piatt County Coroner Troy Dunn. “An autopsy was performed with results showing traumatic chest injuries.
