Police identified the victim of a fatal shooting on Jefferson Avenue in Bristol Friday morning. Leonaldo Encarnación, 27, died after being wounded in a shooting near 99 Jefferson Avenue at 3 a.m. on Aug. 5, according to the Bristol Police Department. Encarnación was taken to a local hospital for treatment and later died at the hospital, police said. Police described the shooting as an isolated incident and said there did not appear to be any danger to the public. Police are seeking information about the shooting. A Texas woman has been charged with murder after a fatal crash in Los Angeles that claimed the lives of five people, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney. Nicole Lorraine Linton, 37, is charged with six counts of murder and five counts of grossly negligent vehicular manslaughter after she allegedly sped through an intersection and crashed into several vehicles. Linton, a Houston nurse, was arrested Friday while hospitalized for moderate injuries she suffered in the crash, CBS Los Angeles reports.
