Manchester police are investigating a shooting at Buckland Hills Mall after a security guard was injured Friday. According to the Manchester Police Department, a shooting was reported in the parking lot outside the Macy’s Men’s store shortly after noon. Officers found a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound just inside the store’s entrance. He was taken to Hartford Hospital, according to police. CHARLOTTE – Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers were involved in a shooting Friday afternoon in south Charlotte, the department announced on Twitter. The shooting happened in St. Croix Lane, which is located in the Raintree neighborhood, west of Providence Road. It’s not yet clear how many officers or how many other people were involved in the shooting. CMPD officers went to a home around 5:30 pm in the 8900 block of St. Croix Lane to serve a woman on an involuntary commitment order, the department said.
