One person killed, two injured in shooting near Northlake Mall, police say – WSOC TV
CHARLOTTE – Three people were shot Saturday morning in north Charlotte near the Northlake Mall. One person was pronounced dead at the scene and two others were taken to a local hospital, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. Police say they responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call around 1 a.m. and found three victims with gunshot wounds when they arrived. According to a CMPD update Sunday, the victim has been identified as 23-year-old Armani Donovick Spencer. Detectives are still investigating and ask anyone with information to call 704-432-TIPS.
