BOSTON – A juvenile was arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 12-year-old boy inside a home in the Mattapan section of Boston Thursday afternoon. Walter Hendrick, 22, of Mattapan, will be arraigned Friday in Dorchester District Court on charges including improper storage of a firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm, according to the Boston Police Department and illegal possession of ammunition. Multiple explosions reported at Dow Chemical in Plaquemine; officials respond
IBERVILLE PARISH, LA (WAFB) – Emergency officials are on the scene of multiple explosions in Iberville Parish. According to Sheriff Brett Stassi, it appears to be near the Dow chemical plant area. Authorities said no injuries have yet been reported. Iberville Emergency Preparedness sent out an alert around 9:40 p.m. telling residents to stay indoors and turn off their air conditioning units.
