CHARLOTTE – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department detectives say two people have been arrested after a 12-year-old boy died at the hospital. According to a statement from the department, around 11:30 p.m. Thursday night, officers responded to a home on Sunwalk Court for an assault with a deadly weapon call. The Charlotte Fire Department and MEDIC were on scene when police arrived. At the scene, officers found a 12-year-old boy with injuries and apparent trauma.
