A Springfield resident was killed in a fatal shooting in Hammond early this morning, authorities said. In a statement, Hammond Police Department officials identified 23-year-old Tykerstien Lusk as the victim. The shooting took place at the Living Room nightclub, located at 801 Nashville Avenue in Hammond. Responding officers found Lusk “lying in the ditch with an apparent gunshot wound to the chest,” authorities said. Police did not specify what time the shooting occurred. St. Petersburg police are investigating what they said was a drug lab at a waterfront home in the city’s Venetian Isles neighborhood Sunday afternoon.
